Description :

Cumann Arachais Fear na mBuan Oglaigh (CAFNBO) seeks to appoint a Manager with the title ‘Administration Manager CAFNBO’. This vacancy is open to suitable qualified persons, including all serving members of CAFNBO.

The Job :

The Administration Manager reports directly to the Secretary CAFNBO and Management Committee.

The Administration Manager is responsible for:

  • The day to day administration of CAFNBO, a registered Friendly Society.
  • Maintenance of the CAFNBO Members Management Database and daily liaison with members.
  • Coordinating arrangements for monthly Committee meetings.
  • Assisting as required in the preparations for Annual Audits, Financial Statements, Monthly Management Accounts, Annual General Meeting, briefings/seminars and production of material for Quinquennial valuations.
  • Liaising with external stakeholders including Investment Managers, Brokers, Insurance Companies and Accountant/Auditor.
  • Liaising with Defence Forces internal stakeholders.
  • Facilities management of 33 Infirmary Road.
  • Management of CAFNBO staff (including local payroll).
  • Other duties as required.

Candidate requirements :

Computer literate

Familiar with spreadsheets and financial accounts

Strong administrative skills

Understanding of the Defence Forces ethos and organisation

Strong communications skills

Ability to deal effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Capable of working on own initiative

Location : CAFNBO House, 33, Infirmary Road, Dublin, 7.

Salary : The Civil service pay scale based HEO level will apply,  depending on experience.
